This letter and photo memorialize when VXF did somewhat of a repeat performance for President Nixon during the Viet Nam War, of his service for President Roosevelt during World War Two. The difference in Viet Nam was that Bob Hope, a big Republican, approached President Nixon about the idea of VXF doing a report for the president, whereas in World War Two President Roosevelt had conceived the plan to keep on top of his generals.
